You shouldn't have to sacrifice your entire paycheck to achieve a glowing complexion on the regular. Although, if you've got the dough for botox, by all means go for it girl! If not, well then check out my top three budget friendly skincare hacks.
My coworker recently put me on to Dr. Bronners Pure Castille Liquid Soap, which is a magical blend of organic oils that can be used to wash your face, body, food, dishes, floors and even your pet! I swear, from first use, this product washed off all my makeup and left my skin clean and smooth. I've been using this product to wash my face and body. All you need is a small amount!
Bonus - there are a bunch of scents you can choose from like Rose, Lavender and Peppermint. A 32 oz bottle retails for $17.99. I scored one from Whole Foods on sale for $12.99!
Say Yes to Samples
If you're going to purchase your beauty products at stores like Sephora, Ulta, or Kiehl's - make sure you're signed up for their rewards programs. Just the other day, I received a beauty insider sample from Sephora of Sunday Riley's Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. I've been using it a few times a week for almost a month now. Even if you aren't a rewards member, you can always request a sample of product. I highly recommend trying before buying.
Samples are a great way to determine if you really want to invest in a product. If you really like a product, use the sample in the meantime while you save up for it!
Check Your Kitchen Cabinets
You most likely have a few ingredients already on hand that can make a fantastic DIY face mask. I often like to do a simple coconut, honey and egg white mask. You can even apply a dollop of honey on your face for a few minutes to kill bacteria, smooth and hydrate.
